IstanbulWe were very kindly invited to Istanbul in the Autumn to stay with Richard and Maggie who had been living there for a few months with job commitments. A beautiful city with attractions to numerous to mention. We had only enough time for 3 nights due to our work commitments but it was lovely seeing Richard and Maggie again.

Cape VerdePushing the boat out financially we booked to go to this Atlantic luxury island for a week. The farthest we had travelled for some years as the flight was 6 hours. We seen little of the island as all activity is within the resort but the weather was stunning every day. A drawback was the amount of flies attacking you all the time, the only fly in the ointment so to speak. The all-inclusive attraction was not perfect but we enjoyed ourselves.
